FTP services are to be used solely in order to upload Web site files associated with that ComputerKings account. Using the FTP service in conjunction with any P2P or file sharing activity is strictly prohibited.

Users should not FTP third party software programs, music or other files that are copyrighted or without having proper authorization from the rights holder. All files uploaded should be linked to the client’s website. Storage of personal or other non essential files under your web space is prohibited.

FTP User and Password management is available from the clients control panel.

FTP Users will have access to their own root directory. Web site files must be placed in the WWWROOT folder and MS Access and Excel databases uploaded to the DB folder. Uploading files outside these designated folders is not permitted and will be removed by our automated scripts.

Detection of illegal use or practices detrimental to ComputerKings or its users will result in immediate suspension in accordance with the terms of service agreement.

ComputerKings does monitor and audit log files whenever deemed necessary. Logging captures include but are not limited to account information, login date and time, files transferred, and other prudent information.
